That's terrible. It's hard to try to eat healthy. The government and big cooperations are ruining everything.

Unfortunately, most of even the organic is gm. They just don't use chemical pesticides on it. The only way to get non-gm corn is to buy from a farmer who purposefully plants it, or to plant your own from seed, making sure the seed isn't gm. We just read a book that has all about that in it. It is a sad, sad mess.

Sadly, I just read somewhere that most US corn is genetically modified. I'm hoping the organic stuff isn't?

Well, that is great that you avoid sugar altogether. I have had a sugar addiction for quite some time but I'm much better now. Now that I know it's super terrible for my health.

Thanks! Being diabetic I don't use sugar at all. Since I was diagnosed as a child I just didn't like the taste of the substitutes so have never used them. Interesting, thanks.

Also, in case you didn't know. All artificial sweeteners are horrible for your health. Anything artificial should be avoided.

"Q) Can Stevia replace sugar in the diet?

A) Yes. Refined sugar is virtually devoid of nutritional benefits and, at best, represents empty calories in the diet. At worst, it has been implicated in numerous degenerative diseases. Stevia is much sweeter than sugar and has none of sugar's unhealthy drawbacks."

Hope that helps. :) I am avoiding all sugars, honey and limiting fruit and carbs due to candida.

That's really neat. I just noticed your comment now. I've been super busy lately and forgot to post on my blog. :)

I tried to check your blog but I guess it is private.

"...the LORD Jesus Christ alone saves by HIS grace: All of God and none of man! Amen. To God be the glory."
Amen! :)
