Ephesians 2:1-10

By Grace Through Faith
1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

About the Author

My nickname is Dani (full name: Danielle.) I married Ishka (full name: Istvan) in August 2005. He is from Romania and currently living in the US with me and our kids. We have two children; Colin who was born January 2007 and Ethan who was born December 2008.

My Beliefs:

I would prefer to call myself a sovereigntist. I believe in God’s sovereignty in all things; including salvation. I do not hold to any official “confession of faith” and I am not a “sabbath keeper.” I also don’t believe in baby baptism.

Some might call me a “Calvinist” because of what I just stated above, which is alright, but there are many things that John Calvin believed that I wouldn’t agree with. I stick with what the Bible says. I let it be my guide as to what I should believe.

On Arminianism (free-willism):

I am anti-Arminianism. I don’t believe that they worship the same God of the Bible. Their god does not look like the God of the Bible and until a person lines up their views on God with the Bible they are not really in the faith.

We have to believe in the right God to be in the faith. That only makes sense. If you are in the faith you believe God was the only reason you came to salvation. It was all of God.

So, anything on here (websites, etc.) that promote a different gospel than the one in the Bible, please ignore it, I’m sure I linked to it for some other tips of theirs and NOT their “gospel” message.

Message Board:

I have a message board where we discuss things about Christianity and other types of things. Here’s the link… Redeemed By Grace

My hubby, me and my close friend run it.
